What is the “Summer Blast Finale” Extended/Preseason Rec Camp? It’s a combined version of our Summer Camp and After School Programs for Grades K-8 offered the week of August 28th to cover the week after summer camp ends and the week before school begins.

Saco Parks & Recreation will be offering a week of fun filled activities for your children to enjoy before going back to school. There will be movies, arts & crafts and all around fun. If staffing allows we may also plan local field trips*.

Fee Options Offered Daily!
  • Daily Fee: $33.00/residents; $38.00/non-res. You only have to purchase the days needed!*
  • Full summer camp participants: the Summer Blast Finale cost is not covered by the original summer camp enrollment, so please make sure to register for days needed this week.
  • *Credits will not be issued for days unused, so please only purchase the days you need.
  • Morning Chill: before care, starting at 6:30am and including breakfast, is also available for an additional daily cost of $7.00/resident and $8.00/non-res.
  • *Schedules will not be sent out in advance as the ability to offer trips will be based on staffing and the number of participants registered. Taking this into consideration, it is best to send your child with a change of clothes, sunscreen, swimsuit, and towel (in addition to lunch, snacks and water) to be prepared. Larger Field Trips may require an additional fee to cover admission - these will be announced.

Registration: Starting Monday, July 17th!
Who can register: Anyone entering Grades K-8 who participated in our 2017 Summer Camp Program or who is registered for our 2017-2018 School’s Out Program. We must already have a current contact sheet on file to participate in this camp.
Hours: 7:30 am-6:00 pm. Please note: Morning Chill options are available for an additional daily fee of $7.00/residents or $8.00/non-residents.
Min: 25 Campers; Max: 100 campers - daily. Please do not wait as this will fill up fast!
How do I register?
Step 1: Your child must already be enrolled in one of the above mentioned programs.
Step 2: Register online or come in to the office pay for the days you need.
