Join us for our annual special events like our Spring Time Indoor Barbecue, Thanksgiving dinner, Senior Breakfast, Wellness Fair, Dinner/Dance, and other Community Events throughout the year!  Details below:


NEW! Lunch & Learn Series
  • Come enjoy lunch and learn about different topics throughout the year! Each month we will have a special guest and new topic to explore. Preregistration is required so that we can plan for the lunch order. Doors open at 11:45am so that everyone can get seated with lunch by a little after 12:00pm for the class to start. Please notify us ahead of time with any dietary restrictions or severe allergies. Once you are registered and you can no longer attend, we will need to know 48 hours in advance in order to receive your credits back to your account. Lunch will vary each month, but you can expect something like sandwiches, pizza, salads, OR wraps, plus chips and fruit or veggies. $3.00/person.

  • Come learn about all of the neat community opportunities and resources that Age Friendly Saco has put together and created! Or come to learn about how you can get involved and volunteer!

  • Kennebunk Chief of Police, Robert F. Mackenzie, the Opioid Epidemic & Substance Use Disorder
  • Bob MacKenzie is a 31 year veteran of law enforcement, currently serving as Chief of Police with the Kennebunk Police Department. Chief MacKenzie began his law enforcement career in 1988 with Kennebunk PD and rose through the ranks, being promoted to Chief of Police in 2008. Chief MacKenzie is a graduate of the 243rd FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree through Husson University. Chief MacKenzie is the producer of the “Point of No Return” a 30 minute movie which depicts the consequences of underage drinking and has been shown in 34 states. Chief Mackenzie will speak on the opioid epidemic and substance use disorder (OUD/SUD) and talk about the goal of reducing stigma.  He will speak on how SUD/OUD affects each and every one of us and how we need to work together as a community and society to help solve it.
