Field Closures - These are posted for team games and practices first. Some general recreation may still be allowed if conditions are not so that someone maybe injured or the fields damaged. This is especially true in the neighborhood fields and parks. Game fields should be avoided if closed. Fields may be closed for something other then wet weather especially at the beginning of the spring or end of the fall.Field Status This status will be updated as needed. Please continue to check back as conditions change. This is in effect until changed it is not just for the date listed it is until further notice. Changes are posted around 1pm weekdays and 7:30 am weekends. Some fields will be marked closed if work is scheduled or is ongoing on that field. All teams playing or practicing on one of these City od Saco areas must have permission from the Parks & Recreation Department. No field should be used if it is still wet and/or muddy. If you show up at a field that is muddy or has standing water regardless of what the indication above says please do not use it. Sometimes areas are left open because certain parts are still usable. Coaches should check the Parks & Recreation Department's website to see if the fields are not playable. The safety of the players is the deciding factor in determining the use of the fields. Teams, groups or organizations found using fields in poor conditions could risk using fields in the future.
