This event always sells out!! 11th Annual Family Night: Gingerbread House Decorating Party 2020
What a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season and start a new family tradition! Come and enjoy a fun filled evening of decorating and designing your family’s gingerbread house. These are wonderfully constructed houses and will make a whimsical addition to your holiday décor. We supply the assembled house, frosting and candy. You enjoy the well deserved family time and build your family memories. The music will be playing and the tables will be set. Just show up, decorate and take your gingerbread house with you when you leave. We will supply one cookie gingerbread man per family. 

General Information
  • Where: Saco Community Center 75 Franklin St
  • When: OPTIONS - Tuesday, December 15th OR Wednesday, December 16th
  • Times: 6:00pm-7:30pm
  • 10 Houses Available Per Seating!
  • Fee: $25.00 per family house (up to 4 people max). One registration per family required. No walk-ins.
  • Groups with more than 4 people must complete an additional registration.
  • Registration Max: 40 people may attend per session. Space is limited following current Maine DECD guidelines for indoor events. During the checkout process please make sure to answer the question regarding family members who plan to attend.
  • Open to Saco and Dayton residents. Dayton residents please contact the SPR Office at 283-3139 to register.
  • Each registration comes with 1 house, 1-2 gingerbread cookies, frosting and candy to decorate. Families will get their own table which will be spaced at least 6' from the next group. Masks will also be required during the entire event.
  • For Participants
  • 1. Upon arrival, participants will arrive masked and report to the gym for a health screening and temperature check.
  • 2. Participants will utilize hand sanitizer at the health screening station before heading to their table.
  • 3. Groups must stay at their assigned table during the event.
  • 4. Participants are required to wear a mask at all times during the event. Masks may be removed while eating cookies or candy as long as participants are at least 6' from the next person.
