Lifestyle Design Classes with instructor, Katy Hersey:
What we do with our time reflects our values, beliefs, and how we feel about ourselves. Our habits and routines are essential to how we exist in the world. These patterns of behavior dictate how we spend our time and even what we look forward to. It is normal to feel out of control of your time, wishing you were spending it doing something else or being with someone else (maybe even just being with yourself!). In this informal series we will meet once a month to explore simple stress management strategies, healthy lifestyles, and the benefits of networking with your peers.
Instructor Bio: “I have helped people manage high-level executive careers, live independently in their homes, and develop a healthy routine that makes them feel strong well past their visits with me. I have a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. I am a certified TRX and Pilates instructor as well as a certified Assistive Technology Provider.
On a more personal level, I’m also a vegetarian … I love to spend time outdoors. I love my two busy boys and my husband. I enjoy getting up at 4 am to go to Orangetheory and can be found happily enjoying the company of my horse, Forest, or my friends at happy hour. I am an extraverted, invert! My enthusiasm needs its counterpart of rest. I am equally as delighted sitting lakeside, gardening, or doing Yin Yoga.”- Katy
