*Tai Chi is offered Thursday mornings with instructor Joe Harrigan. This program is designed for those 50+ of all experience levels; chairs and wall space will be available support. Participants are asked to wear appropriate sneakers, and bring a towel and plenty of water. *Yoga for Seniors will introduce the details of the yoga postures and explore alignment, flexibility and strength. Deep breathing and relaxation techniques will be incorporated to aid in reaping the relaxing and rejuvenating benefits of yoga. Classes open to all ability levels. Please bring a yoga mat and small blanket. There will be a few mats available to borrow.*Yoga with Weights is the newest form of yoga. Combining the grace of yoga with the mindfulness of body-building adds a whole new dimension to the mind-body connection. It's a balance of strength, flexibility, breath, and alignment, just like a traditional yoga practice. Yoga Instructor Bio: Amanda Kezal, owner of Holistic Pathways in Gorham, has been teaching yoga for over 20 years to all age and ability levels. She is trained and certified in a variety of yoga styles. Amanda believes yoga is meant to be fun and practiced without having to turn yourself into a pretzel.*Beginner Pickleball- Come try the popular sport of Pickleball: a paddle sport for all ages. This is a drop-in style program where you can come try the sport or play a full game! Instruction is available on most Tuesdays, upon request. No experience necessary!*Tai Chi Chih is a rejuvenating practice of moving meditation. This new class is easy to learn and brings benefits to many including, peace of mind, improved health, and joy. This class will be taught by certified Tai Chi Chih instructor, Sara Leonard.*Pilates- Katy Hersey, an occupational therapist, has been practicing for 17 years and has seen the benefits of Pilates for all ages and ability levels. Katy is trained in Method Pilates and has taken additional course work for more complex population using the APPI method also known as Modified Pilates. Pilates is a relaxing meditative exercise that stretches, strengthens and tones without strain improving body alignment and ease of movement. Pilates can be practiced at chair or mat level. Please bring a mat if you have one! *Saco Bay Artists- Come and enjoy a time to paint with some of the members of The Saco Bay Artists, an art organization that has been active for over 20 years. We will have open painting sessions on Mondays from 10AM-3PM. Bring your own art supplies and a project to work on. There will be no formal instruction but people are available to offer suggestions and/or help.

Yoga Fusion: Explore the yoga fusion blend that is unique to Amanda’s classes. Dabble in Expressive Yoga, Flow, Yin Yoga and a hint of Toning & Sculpting. These classes will focus on creating and exploring the inner strength of the mind, body and spirit while working toward creating balance in daily life. Class level varies each week and is open to all ability levels. Yoga Instructor Bio: Amanda Kezal, owner of Holistic Pathways in Gorham, has been teaching yoga for over 20 years to all age and ability levels. She is trained and certified in a variety of yoga styles. Amanda believes yoga is meant to be fun and practiced without having to turn yourself into a pretzel.Tai Chi Chih: Tai Chi Chih is a rejuvenating practice of moving meditation. This new class is easy to learn and brings benefits to many including, peace of mind, improved health, and joy. This class will be taught by certified Tai Chi Chih instructor, Sara Leonard.

The Saco Parks and Recreation Department will be offering Drop In Adult Co-ed Volleyball. This is a recreation level program. We will pick up teams each night. Take some time to get out of the house and enjoy a fun night of volleyball. We will supply all equipment. You bring the fun and enthusiasm!

Deep breathing and relaxation techniques will be incorporated to aid in reaping the relaxing and rejuvenating benefits of yoga. Classes open to all ability levels. Please bring a yoga mat and small blanket. There will be a few mats available to borrow.*Yoga with Weights is the newest form of yoga. Combining the grace of yoga with the mindfulness of body-building adds a whole new dimension to the mind-body connection. It's a balance of strength, flexibility, breath, and alignment, just like a traditional yoga practice. This class will be taught by certified Tai Chi Chih instructor, Sara Leonard.*Pilates- Katy Hersey, an occupational therapist, has been practicing for 17 years and has seen the benefits of Pilates for all ages and ability levels. Katy is trained in Method Pilates and has taken additional course work for more complex population using the APPI method also known as Modified Pilates. Pilates is a relaxing meditative exercise that stretches, strengthens and tones without strain improving body alignment and ease of movement. Pilates can be practiced at chair or mat level. Please bring a mat if you have one! *Saco Bay Artists- Come and enjoy a time to paint with some of the members of The Saco Bay Artists, an art organization that has been active for over 20 years. We will have open painting sessions on Mondays from 10AM-3PM. Bring your own art supplies and a project to work on. There will be no formal instruction but people are available to offer suggestions and/or help.

The last practice will include a scrimmage using the skills that have been taught over the session.

Spring Indoor Youth Volleyball! This youth program is a great opportunity for beginner level participants and those looking to move to the next level to experience an introduction to volleyball and develop their skills!  In this session, athletes will learn the basics and fundamentals of volleyball. We will teach participants the format including game rules and rotation, and skills such as setting and serving, passing and, everyone's favorite—spiking! At the end of each practice we will play a fun game that incorporates skills needed in the game of volleyball, helping the players feel the energy of a game. The last practice will include a scrimmage using the skills that have been taught over the session.

*Tai Chi is offered Thursday mornings with instructor Joe Harrigan. This program is designed for those 50+ of all experience levels; chairs and wall space will be available support. Participants are asked to wear appropriate sneakers, and bring a towel and plenty of water. *Yoga for Seniors will introduce the details of the yoga postures and explore alignment, flexibility and strength. Deep breathing and relaxation techniques will be incorporated to aid in reaping the relaxing and rejuvenating benefits of yoga. Classes open to all ability levels. Please bring a yoga mat and small blanket. There will be a few mats available to borrow.*Yoga with Weights is the newest form of yoga. Combining the grace of yoga with the mindfulness of body-building adds a whole new dimension to the mind-body connection. It's a balance of strength, flexibility, breath, and alignment, just like a traditional yoga practice. Yoga Instructor Bio: Amanda Kezal, owner of Holistic Pathways in Gorham, has been teaching yoga for over 20 years to all age and ability levels. She is trained and certified in a variety of yoga styles. Amanda believes yoga is meant to be fun and practiced without having to turn yourself into a pretzel.*Beginner Pickleball- Come try the popular sport of Pickleball: a paddle sport for all ages. This is a drop-in style program where you can come try the sport or play a full game! Instruction is available on most Tuesdays, upon request. No experience necessary!*Tai Chi Chih is a rejuvenating practice of moving meditation. This new class is easy to learn and brings benefits to many including, peace of mind, improved health, and joy. This class will be taught by certified Tai Chi Chih instructor, Sara Leonard.*Pilates- Katy Hersey, an occupational therapist, has been practicing for 17 years and has seen the benefits of Pilates for all ages and ability levels. Katy is trained in Method Pilates and has taken additional course work for more complex population using the APPI method also known as Modified Pilates. Pilates is a relaxing meditative exercise that stretches, strengthens and tones without strain improving body alignment and ease of movement. Pilates can be practiced at chair or mat level. Please bring a mat if you have one! *Saco Bay Artists- Come and enjoy a time to paint with some of the members of The Saco Bay Artists, an art organization that has been active for over 20 years. We will have open painting sessions on Mondays from 10AM-3PM. Bring your own art supplies and a project to work on. There will be no formal instruction but people are available to offer suggestions and/or help.
